1 RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing, the rules of each class, the Caribbean Sailing association (CSA) rating rule and the Sailing Instructions.
1.2 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence
2 ADVERTISING
  Advertising will be restricted to Category C.
3 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1 The regatta is open to the following classes:
OPEN SPINNAKER:
CSA Rating Rule
OPEN NON SPINNAKER:
CSA Rating Rule
BAREBOAT:
Boats of this class will be restricted to recognized bareboat fleets acceptable to the Race Committee. Only equipment provided as standard by the bareboat company will be allowed. No spinnakers, spinnaker poles, whisker poles or second headsail will be permitted. CSA Rating Rule class(es).
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the entry form on www.goldenrockregatta.com, or send an email to info@goldenrockregatta.com.
4 CLASSIFICATION
  The ISAF Sailor Classification Code will apply.
5 FEES
  Required fees are $5 per foot.
For members of CSA associated yacht clubs the entry fee will be $4 per foot.
Boats may instead enter per Individual Race at a fee of $ 50,00 per race.
Fees are payable at registration at Captain Oliver’s Yacht Club, Oyster Pond.
 
6 SCHEDULE
 

Monday November 10:
The St. Barths Race - 15 miles
Simpson Bay, St. Maarten – Gustavia, St. Barthelemy. Free evening in Gustavia.

 

Tuesday November 11:
The St. Kitts Race - 52 miles

Gustavia, St. Barths – Frigate Bay, St. Kitts. Prize giving and Beach Party in front of the Monkey Bar.

 

Wednesday November 12:
The St. Kitts / Statia Race - 40 miles

Basseterre, St. Kitts – Oranjestad, St. Eustatius. Street festival in Lower Town.

  Thursday November 13:
The Statia Up & Down Races - 30 miles

Oranjestad, St. Eustatius: two Windward / Leeward courses. Fort Oranje Prize giving Party. Fort Oranjestraat Festival.
 

Friday November 14:
The St. Martin Return Race - 39 miles

The Returning of the Charter Yachts to Oyster Pond, St. Martin. Prize giving at Captain Oliver’s Restaurant.

7 MEASUREMENTS
  Each boat shall produce a valid measurement and rating certificate. You will need an updated 2008 rating certificate. All certificates must be stamped and dated 2008 even if you just got your boat measured in 2007 it has to be checked by a measurer and reissued; this takes very little time. The cost will be the amount for the 2008 stamp and administration cost. Please have this done before coming to registration.  
8 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
  The sailing instructions will be available on registration at the Regatta Committee Boat in front of the Dinghy Dock in Oyster Pond.
9 SCORING
  All racing will be scored on a low point system.
10 PRIZES
  Daily prizes will be awarded to the winner of the daily race in her class. The overall winner over 4 days will be awarded “The Governors Trophy”. The winner of the 5th Day will be awarded the Captain Oliver’s Trophy.
11  DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
  The Golden Rock Regatta Organization, the St. Kitts & Nevis Boating Club and any other party involved in the organization and conduct of the Golden Rock Regatta disclaims any liability for personal injury, personal or material damage whatsoever, sustained prior to, during or after The Golden Rock Regatta. Your entry in The Golden Rock Regatta will constitute a declaration of acceptance of all disclaimers made by the regatta.
